Tauranga Police continue to ask for help in locating 31-year-old Kane James Christie.

Christie has a warrant out for his arrest after failing to appear in Tauranga District Court on November 27 for dishonesty and violence-related matters.

Kane Christie is wanted by police.

Police add he is wanted in relation to a number of matters and is believed to be using stolen vehicles.

He has particular associations with Tauranga, Taupo, Tokoroa, Mangakino and Hamilton, and had the word 'Taupo' tattooed on the side of his neck.

Police appealed for the public's assistance in locating Christie last month.

Anyone with information about Christie‘s whereabouts are asked to call their local police station.
