Works at Hull Road to begin

Work to upgrade Hull Road, the Totara Street roundabout and the Maunganui and Hull Road intersection is due to start this week. Additional work includes upgrading the kerb and channelling and construction of a new left hand turn lane on Maunganui Road into Hull Road.

Hull Road is to undergo some significant road works.

Some work will be done at night. The project is expected to take about eight weeks, depending on weather, to complete. Some delays are likely and motorists are advised to use an alternative route if possible.

Maunganui Road Hull Road FREE left turn should have been put in place when traffic lights were installed a couple of years ago as it was an essential part of it.Now it costs more money more inconvenience and is more of a shambles.Another TCC / NZTA cockup.
