About 600 fashion fanatics in Tauranga will get a glimpse of this season's street style at Mount Maunganui Primary School's second annual fashion fundraiser this week.
In collaboration with Farmer Auto Village and ANZ Bank, the almost-sold out event on Thursday, June 19, will see Tauranga designers and businesses collaborate to raise funds for new sports gear, uniforms and gazebos for the primary's House Groups.

Mount Maunganui Primary School PTA committee member Helen Fletcher says tickets are selling fast, with almost all of the 600 tickets sold.
'Buying a ticket for the event helps all kids at school have the sports resources they need to be the best that they can be on the sports field and there are many learnings that are played out there that kids can use later in life.
'Plus, it's a great way for our community at the Mount and in Tauranga to come together and enjoy a fun and glamorous evening.”
Helen says after the success of last year's fashion show at Sisters & Co, the PTA saw the potential to expand the show, moving this year's event to the larger venue at Farmer Auto Village.
'We are very grateful to Farmer Auto Village for generously donating their premises as a venue.
'The space is perfect to host a fabulous fashion event. We are also very thankful to have ANZ as our other major sponsor, without them this wouldn't be possible.”
Mothers from the primary school will model some of this season's looks and a VIP area will be available for Tauranga fashion lovers to mingle.
Singer Hannah Parrot will be performing on the night, which will be MC'd by More FM presenters BelCrawford and BrendonWeatherley.
Food will be provided by Tauranga eateries including Café 88, Side Track Café, Pronto, Hereford Kitchen and Yuki Sushi.
Raffles will be run on the night with prizes including $200 worth of beauty products and $300 worth of treatment from Skin Centre, as well as an Augustine garment to give away.
A silent auction is currently running on the PTA's Facebook page including Lake Chalice wine, a Marc Jacobs handbag from Sisters & Co, a free dental check-up, x-ray and teeth whitening from Corson Dental, as well as a $500 Ivory Bar voucher.
Helen hopes to raise between $10,000-$20,000 on the night, with all proceeds going to Mount Primary. ANZ is providing mobile eftpos services and are the key front row sponsor.
Mount Maunganui Primary School's second annual fashion fundraiser is at Farmer Auto Village on June, 19. Doors open 6pm for VIPs and show starts at 7pm. Tickets are available at Mount Maunganui Primary School and Farmer Auto Village.
