Bay of Plenty Coastlands265/10 from 127 overs grinded out a first innings victory over Counties Manukau 235/9 to again be crowned the Northern Districts Senior Secondary Boys winners.

With mainstay Ben Musgrave 64 departing late on day one.

Gareth Wallace set about holding the Coastlands innings together on day two he achieve that with a patient 67 facing 215 balls Wallace shared a most valuable partnership of 54 with Keaton Taylor 18.

Taylor starred the two days earlier taking 5-6 against Waikato Valley to lead the Coastlands Boys to the Final.

Wallace was the 7^th wicket to fall at 223 with 16 runs still needed.

Coastlands lost two further wickets with the score at 232.

At 232/9 it was anyone's game with 3 to win Tom Wakelin stroked a beautiful on drive for 4 to take first innings and the ND Secondary Boy representative trophy.

Play resumed until tea with Coastlands all out for 265/10.
