The two men accused of kidnapping and killing Hamilton woman Rae Portman will stand trial today.
Paraire Hori Te Awa, 33 is charged with kidnapping and murdering Portman while Dean Michael Addison, 36, faces a charge of kidnapping.
Rae Portman's body was found in Ardmore in September last year.
Addison also faces charges of supplying methamphetamine and possessing a precursor substance.
Both have pleaded not guilty to the charges and are defending them at a trial.
The 33-year-old woman went missing in June 2012. She was four months pregnant at the time she disappeared.
Police launched an investigation and her body was located at a rural property in Ardmore last September.
In April Papakura man Lee Rigby, 36, was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison after earlier admitting to kidnapping Rae.
