Top teams battled out for places on the Tauranga Hockey Centre's artificial turf today in some closely-fought games, while next door at Blake Park the netball and football finals were played out.

Palmerston North Intermediate Normal (blue) play Buckland Beach Intermediate (yellow), beating them 2-1 goal in the closely-fought play off for seventh and eighth place in the girls competition.

Taupo Intermediate School bet Kamo Intermediate, winning 3-0 in the boys' playoff for ninth and tenth.

Bethlehem College play Whangarei Intermediate in the girls' battle for ninth and tenth place.

John Paul College play Rotorua Intermediate for boys' seventh and eighth place.
