A week of sunshine for Tauranga will be short lived as the weekend will see more wet weather.
MetService is predicting mainly north-easterly flows for a week of sun and warm weather in the city.
The MetService is predicting mainly fine weather this week before rain at the weekend.
'There is a chance of wet weather at the end of the week, at this point it doesn't look too nasty,” says media and communications meteorologist Daniel Corbett.
Temperature highs range from 15 to 19degrees and temperature lows from four to 12 degrees.
'There is high pressure for the week, temperatures are responding well.”
He says there is a flow expected from the north, but it doesn't affect Tauranga.
'The top end of the Coromandel may see rain tomorrow."
He says there is an expected rainfall for today but the rest of the week is looking dry.
