Green fingered Tauranga residents are being given the opportunity to pick the brain of award-winning landscape designer, television personality and author Xanthe White.

Award winning landscape designer Xanthe White hosting one of the ever-popular Daltons School of Gardening workshops.

Xanthie will be hosting a free seminar on organic gardening at the Daltons landscape yard on Hull Road on Saturday, April 6.

The seminar is designed to educate and entertain organic gardening supporters from around the community, organisers say.

During the class, Xanthe and the Daltons experts will offer top tips on organic gardening methods.

'They will also cover more specific topics such as crop rotation, companion planting and natural forms of pest and disease prevention.

'There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions so that everyone walks away with the advice that they came for,” say organisers.

The class will run from 10am until 2pm.
