Did John Key actually authorise Pita Sharples' trip and clandestine act at the UN (at our expense)? If so, what a spineless leader we have, and what a poor concept of democracy and honesty they both reveal, not to mention abuse of position.
If it wasn't authorised by Key and he is now hoodwinked into a sort of face saving cover up or justification, could it be, in effect, an invalid document? What a situation, eh, and how naive I am!
Anyway, do we really want a government that is prepared to go along with such dangerous games of trickery?
