Catching fish from Salisbury wharf will be for sport only this week. Sewage entered the water near the wharf on Tuesday after a contractor damaged a sewer main on Nikau Crescent.
Pilot Bay is closed to swimming, fishing and shellfish gathering. Warning signs are in place. Tests will be made on water quality today, Thursday.
