Fire crews have been called to a “well-involved” fire in Tauranga South.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said they were called to a single-storey house in Baycroft Ave about 1.10pm.

“On arrival crews found a 5m by 10m building well involved in fire.

“The fire is now out and crews are dampening down hotspots.”

Two crews from Tauranga and Greerton went to the scene.
