There are currently 902 customers in the western Bay of Plenty without power.
Powerco crews made good progress over the weekend in restoring power supply to customers affected by the storm.
Some remaining outages may involve major repairs, such as downed poles and lines, due to extensive damage.
Crews reported continuing to find damaged poles and lines in affected areas.
The largest outages currently involve the Minden area, Ōmokoroa and Kaitemako.
The power outage in the Minden area of the western Bay of Plenty still affected 176 customers, where lines were down.
In Ōmokoroa in the western Bay of Plenty, 81 customers were affected.
In Kaitemako, in the western Bay of Plenty, 59 customers were affected.
A Powerco spokesperson said the company thanks customers for their patience and understanding as crews worked quickly and safely to restore power to all affected customers.
