The pieces of the Baywide Premier Competition jigsaw are falling into place with just two rounds remaining in the regular season.
What we know is that Rotorua representative Whakarewarewa has already booked a home semi-final, and Te Puke Sports is within touching distance of the other home venue playoff spot.
Tauranga Sports currently sit in third place with Greerton Marist rounding out the top four.

The hosts took a comfortable twelve points lead (5-17) lead into the halftime break, before Tauranga Sports roared back with a converted touchdown just three minutes into the second spell.
It was one-way traffic for most of the second half with Tauranga Sports adding 24 points, before Te Puke scored a consolation five-pointer, to result in the Tauranga Sports returning home with a 36-22 victory.
Te Puke Sports second-five, Brad Armstrong, had a day to remember being awarded his side’s player of the day in his 100th premier appearance for his club.
The other Friday premier encounter saw Greerton Marist run in seven tries on their way in defeating Mount Maunganui 41-24. Te Puna lurk in fifth place on the standings, after beating Rangataua 36-14 at home at Te Ariki Park, in the sole Saturday premier fixture.
2025 Western Bay of Plenty Championship
The 2025 Western Bay of Plenty Championship will be fought out by Rangiuru and Arataki, who have a rivalry that dates back a half century, after they both emerged victorious from the red-hot semi-final action.
Rangiuru met close neighbours Eastern Districts and had to endure plenty of pressure before they finished with a nine-point win courtesy of a 36-25 scoreline.
Arataki also had to dig deep before prevailing 37-27 in a battle with Katikati at Arataki headquarters.
Te Puna Development side cemented second spot in the title race, after they posted a 64-17 victory over Rangataua in the early action at Te Ariki Park.
Greerton Marist ground out a 22-10 win in their matchup with Mount Maunganui while Te Puke Sports won an arm wrestle with Tauranga Sports, 32-26.
