Emergency services responded to the scene of a vehicle crash at Pongakawa on Sunday morning.

"One person was treated for minor injuries after their vehicle rolled off the road and hit a tree on Maniatutu Road about 11am," Police said.

"Hato Hone St John was notified at 10.56am and responded with one ambulance," a Hato Hone St John spokesperson said.

"Our crew assessed and treated one patient in a moderate condition at the scene."

Fire crews from Maketu and Pukehina stations also attended.
