Steamers countdown

The countdown has started for one of the biggest rugby games to be held at Baypark this season.
At 2.35pm Saturday the Bay of Plenty Steamers will clash against Waikato at Baypark.
The Steamers are leading the 2009 Air New Zealand Cup with twelve points and are still undefeated.

Bay of Plenty Steamers manager Paul Feeney says the last three weeks do not count, with the game against Waikato on the horizon.
'Waikato like to see themselves as the big brother, which always provides the Steamers with an extra incentive for victory,” says Paul.
Only two changes have been made to the starting line up for tomorrow's game.
Solomon King returns to the number six jersey with Tanerau Latimer returning to All Black duty, and former Waikato lock Mark Burman has been promoted to the starting fifteen.
Steamers coach Sean Horan says he is really proud of how his team has performed in the season so far.
'What has amazed me is after all the adversity we have had over the last three to four weeks, how the players have managed to show such responsibility and maturity throughout.
They have just gone out there and done the job on the field,” says Sean.
Steamers management are praising first five Mike Delany for making a real impression this season.
'Last week Delany appeared to have the ball on a string, which coupled with his probing tactical kicking caused Wellington headaches all game,” says Paul.
The Steamers will play Auckland next weekend on Sunday, August 30.
