Diversions are in place following a truck crash on State Highway 27.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says a truck has crash just north of Walton Road.

"SH27 is closed between Wardville Road, and Waharoa and Diagonal Road.

"Allow extra time for the detour."

Northbound traffic are advisesd to to right on Wardville Road, left on Alexandra Road, left on Diagonal Road to return to SH27.

The reverse is advised for southbound traffic.
