Police are releasing the names of the two people that passed away following a collision on SH 26, Te Aroha on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
They were Jonathon Andrew Mathews, 31, from Paeroa and Peter James Charles Swallow, 30, from Matamata, according to a police spokesperson.
"Our thoughts are with their families at this difficult time.
"An investigation into the crash remains ongoing."
