The school buses are becoming a battle ground, with children being assaulted on the bus in Welcome Bay, vapes and other substances being consumed and feral kids running amok. Was the driver distracted...? Maybe. Are councils and bus companies meeting their requirements under the health and safety act..? Having spoken to a bus driver about issues around Tauranga involving feral children, the answer appears to be a resounding, NO!! There is an ever increasing lump under the carpet, with people ignoring the issues.
