Emergency services are responding to the scene of a vehicle crash on State Highway 29A.

Police have been notified of a collision involving two vehicles on SH29A, near Pyes Pa Road, around 12.40pm, says a police spokesperson.

Tauranga Transport Operations Centre says the crash has occurred on SH29A between Barkes Corner -  Cameron Rd/Pyes Pa Rd roundabout and the Tauriko Lakes roundabout -SH29/29A/36 roundabout.

"Emergency services are currently on scene and the road is blocked," says a TTOC spokesperson.

"[We] advise using an alternative route if travelling between Greerton and Tauriko."

Police says there are no reports of injury at this stage.

"The road is blocked. Traffic management will be put in place at the scene. Motorists are advised to expect delays,' says a Police spokesperson.
