Emergency services are attending the scene of a traffic collision at Mount Maunganui.
"Police and Ambulance are in attendance following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at the Gordon Road/Clyde Street intersection," says a police spokesperson.
The collision was reported at 11.50am.
"Initial indications are that the pedestrian has moderate injuries."
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect delays.

Traffic was busy yesterday. The queue at the new world lights almost stretched right to the Mt township.
Many cars were caught in that direction but wanted to be going in the other direction... I suppose huge traffic jams will be a regular thing now the council has put in all their traffic slowing measures.
