Motorists are being warned to adjust their travel times along State Highway 2 for today.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says tree maintenance works are being undertaken along State Highway 2 between Te Puna Station Rd and Clarke Rd.

The agency says these works will be undertaken today Sunday July 9 between 8am and 4pm.

"One lane in each direction will be maintained," says a Waka Kotahi spokesperson.

"A 30km per hour temporary speed limit will be in place during the works."

Motorists are advised to adjust their travel times.
