Motorists are being warned to adjust their travel times along State Highway 2 for today and tomorrow.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says tree maintenance works are being undertaken along State Highway 2 today and tomorrow, between Sargent Rd and Turner Rd.

The agency says these works will be undertaken today Tuesday, July 4, and Wednesday, July 5, between 9am and 4pm.

"One lane in each direction will be available at all times," says a Waka Kotahi spokesperson.

"Adjust your travel time."
