Waka Kotahi is advising motorists to drive with caution after a tree fell near the intersection with Moresby Street, followed by two slips in the same area.

A Waka Kotahi spokesperson says the slips are about "100m apart".

"[The slips and tree] has resulted in the road being open under stop/go traffic management.

"Slow down and expect delays," says a Waka Kotahi spokesperson."
