State Highway 25 is reopen to all traffic as of today, after a washout hit the road in March.
According to the Coromandel's CFM Facebook page, the road will still remain under stop/go traffic management and road users are asked to take care as the surface is not yet fully sealed.
"Pavement works cannot be completed until the weather improves," they say in a Facebook post.
"Surfacing work is not yet complete, but the fences have been removed enabling truck-trailers to get through.
"The road has been compromised here since early March, when an under-slip closed the highway following heavy rain. Contractors cut into the cliff face to create a passable track for light vehicles past the slip before works got underway on permanent repairs."
