One person has been taken to Tauranga Hospital following a vehicle crash on Turret Road.

Police responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Turret Road, Hairini Bridge, around 12.50pm.

"It appears one person received minor injuries, and is being transported to hospital as a precaution,' says a police spokesperson.

"The road is not blocked."
