UPDATE 8.54pm: Enquiries are ongoing to locate a male who fled the scene of a two vehicle crash on Turret Road this evening.

A police spokesperson says a helicopter was "briefly launched" to scan the area after the male fled.

EARLIER 7.23pm: Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on Turret Road near 14th Avenue this evening.

A police spokesperson says they initially responded to the crash at 6.40pm.

"It appears no one was injured at the road wasn't blocked," says a police spokesperson.

A SunLive reader in the area says there are "about seven" police cars and an ambulance in the area.

"The road isn't blocked but the traffic is moving slowly," says the reader.
