Emergency services are responding to the scene of a serious crash on State Highway 29, Kaimai Range.

Police were notified of a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on SH29, near Poripori Road, at about 2pm.

"One person is reported to have sustained serious injuries," says a police spokesperson.

"The road is not closed."

Motorists are advised to take care in the area, and to expect delays.
