A one-year-old child reported missing in the Te Puke area this afternoon has been found at the address the child was believed to have gone missing from.

Police were notified about the missing child at around 1.50pm and had been searching the Gisborne Road and Donovan Avenue area in Te Puke.

Senior Sergeant Mark Holmes says the child was located at the address they were reported missing from at about 2.15pm

No further action was required by police.
