Reports are coming in of a power outage in Bethlehem.

According to Powerco, 147 properties are without power this afternoon in the Cambridge Road area.

The power company's website states that power went out as a result of a vehicle striking a power pole just before 1.30pm.

Contractors are working to restore the supply, and Powerco estimates to have it back on around 5.30pm.
