SunLive readers are reporting that there has been a vehicle crash near the Cambridge Road on-ramp in Tauranga.

Police were notified of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Cambridge Road on-ramp and Cambridge Road at about 6.45pm.

"One person has taken themselves to hospital," says a police spokesperson.

The status of the patient is unknown.

"There are no other reports of injuries.

"The road is reported to be partially blocked by the vehicles."
