Motorists are being advised to expect delays on State Highway 29A.

A crash is being reported on SH29A just south of Barkes Corner near Vet Clinic.

The northbound lane is blocked by a vehicle, says a police spokesperson.

Police are at the scene and an alternate traffic flow is in place.

"Major congestion is forming from SH29/SH36 to Barkes Corner and from Oropi Rd SH29A to Barkes Corner.

"Expect delays. Delay travel or use alternate routes."
