The Waikorire track at Mauao will be closed on Wednesday, November 30 to allow for pest plant maintenance to take place near the track.
"The closure is from 7am to 5pm, weather dependent," says a Tauranga City Council spokesperson.
"Barriers will be in place at the track entrances to advise visitors of the closure.
"Access to the summit will still be available via the Oruahine track and Motukauri track."

for those who speak Te Reo. If you give this notification in English all of us who do not speak Te Reo will be able to take it on board. This is a community notice so the 75+% of the community who are not fluent in Te Reo will be severely disadvantaged otherwise.

Closing for a bit of weeding and pruning! Is closing it really necessary? It's getting shut for every little thing lately. Oh, with the exception of ripping out loved ones memorials that provided a beautiful place to rest.
