What's on today?
Te Puna Quarry volunteers are holding an 'End of Year Plant Sale' at the quarry today from 10am - 1pm. Proceeds of the Plant Sale will go towards a new barbecue area in the Te Puna Quarry Park. Donations of plants are welcome. Come and buy garden plants, house plants, tools, pots, metal sculptures, and butterflies. Coffee, icecream and a sausage sizzle is also available. Te Puna Quarry Park is at 110 Te Puna Quarry road. The park is a place of special beauty, a disused quarry transformed into a park with walking tracks, sculptures and stunning views. Free admission and open every day.

It's Tropicana Sunday at the Greerton Aquatic & Leisure Centre. Tropicana Sunday is going to be taking over the hydrotherapy pool with pina coladas, Hawaiian leis and palm trees from 12 - 3 pm. This is part of the 10 days of celebration after a major refurbishment was completed. For more information click here

The Papamoa Lions Market is on from 7am - 12pm today at the Gordon Spratt Reserve. Head along to find plants, vegetables, crafts, bric-a-brac and many treasures that people are selling. Proceeds go towards local groups that Papamoa Lions assist.

Dinner in the Park starts at 5pm today. It is a weekly artisan food market held at Matua Park, operating every Sunday evening from Sunday November 6 2022 - Sunday March 26 2023. The market will be churning out some ambient beats with regular musicians and bands ensuring feet will be tapping and heads bobbing while the whole family enjoy their restaurant quality meals.
