MetService has issued a heavy rain warning for the Bay of Plenty and Coromandel Peninsula in the coming days.
The heavy rain warning for Mount Taranaki has also been lifted.
"A moist north westerly flow preceding a front is expected to bring heavy rain to the Tararua Range Thursday night and Friday morning,and the east of Bay of Plenty on Friday," says a MetService spokesperson.
"Another front may bring heavy rain to northern New Zealand on Saturday and Sunday.
"People are advised to stay up to date with forecasts in case any of these Watches are upgraded to Warnings or further areas are added."
