This Sunday Pāpāmoa Unlimited will turn the Te Ara ō Wairākei Storm water trail into Alice's Wonderland to celebrate Easter.

"Alice and her friends lost their way in bad weather this weekend trying to get to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party," says Pāpāmoa Unlimited marketing and event manager Julia Manktelow. "They need your help to bring them all back together."

Alice and her friends are believed to have last been spotted on the trail between Santa Monica Drive and Palm Beach Boulevard.

'After a tough year for families I am so excited to bring Pedal and Pump Pāpāmoa to life for Easter," says Julia.

Julia says a free and fun day of adventure is planned for everyone to enjoy.

"I've made it extra special this year so get ready for a picturesque backdrop of the Te Ara ō Wairākei Storm water trail and giant Disney characters.”

The 13 characters that need to be found are Alice, the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, the King of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse, Alice's sister, the Mouse, Playing Cards, and Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.

Julia says there are four brand new bikes as well as a heap of other prizes up for grabs. The event is sponsored by Commercial Signs, My Ride Mount Maunganui, One Wave NZ, and Flex Fitness.

All that's required to enter for the chance of winning prizes is to find Alice and her friends, take a selfie with them and upload your selfies to your own Facebook profile and click on the 'check in' button to tag Pāpāmoa Unlimited.

"Or you can send them via Facebook Messenger to the Pāpāmoa Unlimited Facebook page," says Julia.
