A Tauranga Lotto player has won $10.3 million, taking out both Powerball and First Division on Saturday night.

The player, who purchased their winning ticket online, is the 19th person to win Powerball in 2021.

Two other people, from Lower Hutt and Christchurch, also won First Division, taking home $333,333 each. The tickets were sold at Hutt City New World in Lower Hutt and at New World Ilam in Christchurch.

Strike was also won, with someone who purchased their ticket in the Otago town of Palmerston winning $200,000.

Eighteen lucky Lotto players will be celebrating this weekend after each winning $15,642 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night's Lotto draw.

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at the following stores:

Auckland remains in Alert Level 3 – Step 2. Lotto NZ stores in these areas can open at this Alert Level should they choose to, provided they follow the Ministry of Health's health and safety guidelines.

The rest of the country is currently at Alert Level 2. Lotto NZ counters in Alert Level 2 areas are open and will continue to follow the Government's health and safety guidelines.

The live Lotto draws are unable to take place under the current Alert Level restrictions in Auckland. During this time, computer generated draws for Lotto, Powerball, and Strike will continue to be used.
