Cycleway users are being advised to plan ahead next week for potential closures.

There are potential closures in the pipeline along the Ōmokoroa to Tauranga Cycleway while underground cable works are carried out.

From Tuesday, April 27 to Thursday, April 29, Powerco is undertaking cable works to strengthen Northern Tauranga's power supply alongside the cycleway between Jess Road and Newnham Road.

For safety reasons parts of this cycleway section may need to be closed at times during these days.

The public are asked to take care around this section and be prepared to avoid or use an alternative route during these days.
