The National Jazz Festival at various locations. Head downtown today for the Vintage Car Parade at 11am followed by the downtown Jazz Carnival.

The Tauranga Yacht & Power Boat Club Centennial Celebrations are taking place at Keith Allen Drive, Sulphur Point until Sunday April 4.

Many swimmers are competing in five categories of the Generation Homes The Mount Swim at Mt Maunganui Beach this morning.

Tonight there will be the Speedway Season Finale Fireworks at Trustpower Baypark Speedway.

Event road closure: to accommodate stages along the street for the Jazz Festival, a road closure will be in place along The Strand and on Hamilton and Wharf Streets (between The Strand and Willow Street) until 9pm, Sunday April 4. See map.
