Jet ski accident and vehicle crashes today

Three separate vehicle collisions and a jetski accident have occurred today.

Police received a report of a crash between a car and a motorcycle at around 4.25pm.

St. John Ambulance services have been alerted and it is unknown whether there are any injuries at this stage.

Earlier, two cars have crashed on the Tauranga Eastern Link.

Police received a report of the two vehicle collision on the TEL at around 3pm.

'One person reportedly has minor injuries,” says a Police spokesperson.

There were no reports of traffic blocks on the TEL due to the collision.

Earlier, Police received a report of a car that crashed into a shelter belt on Oropi Rd at around 12.20pm.

'The vehicle was blocking the southbound lane,” says a Police spokesperson.

It is understood that the driver was taken to Tauranga Hospital by family members. The driver's condition is unknown.

This morning, Police received a report of a jetski accident near Matakana Island at around 10.15am.

'The patient was brought back to shore and transported to Tauranga Hospital reportedly with moderate injuries,” says a Police spokesperson.
