Community event in Kopurererua Valley

There's no better way to connect with your family and friends than to enjoy time together outdoors. Come to the free community event ‘Connecting in the Valley' in Kopurererua Valley on Sunday 1 December from 10am – 12pm.

This event is organised by Tauranga City Council to celebrate the newly upgraded 6 km walking and biking path that was completed in May this year, and to encourage the community to have a go on all of the tracks in the award-winning Kopurererua Valley Reserve.

There will be plenty of things to enjoy on the day. If you're bringing your bike, be sure to decorate it as there will be prizes for the most creatively decorated bicycles, explore the tracks in the area, bring your children for fun kids activities, try out the funky bikes and enjoy a BBQ-ed sausage.

Access to the event is via the Faulkner Street entrance to the reserve and people are encouraged to walk or cycle to get there.

When: Sunday, 1 December 10am – 12pm
Where: Kopurererua Valley, via Faulkner Street entrance
