What's on today: mudslide

Today marks the third anniversary of Mudslide Day, a national scout event planned in each region of the country.

Since receiving TECT funding in 2010, organisers developed a plan to make the scout event a full obstacle course, involving lots of mud.

The WBOP Scouts Mudslide Day is at Bruning Farm, Omokoroa Road on Sunday, February 26 from 9.30am to 3.00pm. Entry into the Mudslide is $10.

Also on in Omokoroa today is the Bow Tie Picnic at Walnut Grove, Myrtle Drive. The afternoon of live music and entertainment starts at 2pm and is a fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy Association.
