On 11 January 2012, suddenly but peacefully at Tauranga Hospital, surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of the late Jill and the late Gaye, loved father and father-in-law of Carolann and Mike, Tanji and Stephen, Penelope, Vicki and Malcolm, Kim and Bill, Tony and Marie, and step father of Garth and Marcia. Granddad to 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
