Carpark resealing that is set to take place in the Western Bay of Plenty District Council's recreation reserves and will cause some disruption.
The resealing starts in May and a brief closure of the carparks will take place while the work is underway.
In a statement issued by the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, it says this work is part of council's regular re-sealing programme to ensure the parking areas are up to an acceptable standard.
'The programme will include repairs to the sealed surfaces of some carparks as well total re-sealing of those that need more work.
'The car parks will be closed for up to two days at a time while the work is being done.”
The following reserves will be included in the programme:
Waihi Beach Surf Club and North End carpark.
Anzac Bay – Boat Ramp Area.
Tuapiro Reserve.
MacMillan Reserve.
Haiku Park.
Hunters Reserve.
Pahioa Reserve.
Kaiate Falls Reserve.
The work is scheduled from May 1 2019, subject to weather, and is likely to take up to two months to complete.
The council apologises for any inconvenience.
