There are reports coming in this evening from SunLive readers that the Mount Ocean Sports Club has been evacuated.
Two fire trucks attended the scene after alarms went off about 6pm Saturday evening.
"Everyone was evacuated," says a bystander. "Firemen just went in to the Mount Ocean Sports Club.
"The fire alarms are going off, and fire crew are still inside.
"One fire truck is outside, and the other one is parked further down the road."
