Papamoa music company keeps Toto’s music alive

A Papamoa music company is being thanked on social media for an urgent last minute repair job for Toto.

A Summer's Day with Toto, Dragon and Jefferson Starship saw thousands of people flock to Trustpower Baypark for the concert last night.

Toto arrived in New Zealand on Tuesday, where they were welcome with a powhiri at Tauranga Airport.

As the bands and fans were preparing for last night's gig, behind the scenes McPherson Stompboxes & Music Gear Repairs were doing their bit to keep the music alive.

'We hope everyone's having a fantastic arvo/evening at A Summer's Day at Trustpower Baypark with TOTO, Dragon and Jefferson Starship,” says a post on the Papamoa music company's Facebook page.

'McPherson's have been stoked to play our small part ensuring gear for Toto was stage ready with an urgent repair brought in and given top priority yesterday and fixed in time for sound check!

'Just another reason we love what we do... keeping the music alive!”
