What’s On: Summer Feels and a carnival

Aaradhna is just one of the artists performing at Summer Feels this afternoon.

Good Morning SunLive readers, I hope you had a fantastic day yesterday celebrating Christmas with friends and family.

I hope today is just as enjoyable, whether you are bracing the shops to get a great Boxing Day deal or if you are going to make use of the fine weather and head to the beach.

Looking at your weather for today, it is going to be mainly fine. There is also a chance of there being an odd afternoon shower or two.

There will be South-westerly winds dying out in the evening.

Your high for today will be 28 degrees with an overnight low of 17 degrees.

Looking at your weather for the rest of the week, tomorrow there will be showers with the chance of them becoming heavy in the afternoon, and on Friday there will be a few showers with some northerly breezes developing.

The weather isn't looking the best for the next couple of days, so make sure you make the most of this sunshine, but remember to Slip, Slop, Slap and Wrap!

If you are looking for something to get you into the summer vibe, why not head along to Summer Feels?

Summer Feels is an all ages concert, feature artists such as Stan Walker, Aaradhna, Sammy J, Jackson Owens and Russ Walker.

Summer Feels is taking place at Soper Reserve in Mount Maunganui, with gates opening at 4pm.
