Heavy rain has eased in Northland, Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty and Gisborne from Tolaga Bay northwards

The lastest statement issued from the MetService says heavy rain has eased in Northland, Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty and Gisborne from Tolaga Bay northwards, and the Warning for these areas is now lifted.

"Please note, scattered showers continue today (Christmas Day), some heavy during this afternoon and evening, but no broad-scale warning amounts of rain are expected.
