I hope for most of you this weekend also marks the beginning of a well-deserved summer break.

While it might be summer, the weather is still a little bit up and down. Today Tauranga should expect some showers in the morning but we're also hoping for fine periods as the day goes on.

The high today is sitting at a gorgeous 24°c and it's warm overnight with a low of 16°c.

If you're amongst the crowd of people who have left their Christmas shopping until the last minute (I am not exempt) then why not stop in at any of the various markets happening across the city.

Art in the Park is on from 9am-4pm at Coronation Park and the Zee Christmas market is at Elizabeth Street from 10am-4pm.
