Turning photos to puzzles

Caleb McGregor with one of his favourite photos turned puzzles.

Over the past months from July to October, Caleb McGregor has been going around the community with his volunteer Sara Hillier-Jones taking photos.

Now 20 images have been narrowed down to 12 favourites and have been turned into puzzles and donated to IDEA Services St John vocational to enjoy with funding from the IHC Tauranga Association.

In a presentation to the St John vocational, everyone in the room was excited to see how the puzzles had turned out.

Sara, a skills-based volunteer says Caleb has quite an eye for photography.

'I would really like someone who knows more about photography to teach Caleb, and to help him improve his photography skills.

'He started out taking photos on a smaller camera and has moved up to working a DSLR camera and is taking all sorts of images.”

Caleb says he was very excited to see how the images had turned out onto puzzles.

Photography is a big passion of Caleb's and says someday he would like to do a photography course.
