What’s on? Fun for the whole family

Good morning SunLive readers and welcome back to Saturday.

We're kicking off the weekend with some wet weather this morning. Heavy rain is expected for parts of the morning but should be easing by the afternoon with some northeast breezes. The high today is 19°C with a low of 15°C.

Despite this, there's still fun to be had this weekend.

New Shoots Papamoa will be hosting a day that's all about cakes, children's activities and plenty of fun at its Market Day and Fundraiser.

The free event welcomes the Papamoa and Tauranga community to attend and experience a day of family fun on Saturday November 24 from 10am-1pm.

New Shoots Papamoa will be offering cake sales, market stalls, children's activities and plenty of fun activities for the whole family.

Proceeds from the day will go to the local Tauranga charity Homes of Hope - a charity that provides positive foster care services that prevent brothers and sisters from being separated and ensure stability of their care for as long as it's needed.

All are welcome to attend New Shoots Papamoa at 7 Twin Oaks Ave, Papamoa.

Plus, check out the calendar below for more things to do this weekend.
